This Ramadan, the 7ayy! Festival (not to be confused with the Hay Festival), organised by Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy, will feature female musicians from Sudan, Jordan, Palestine, Algeria and Morocco. The festival events take place on three weekends in the El-Genaina Theatre inside Al-Azhar Park from 10-25 July.

The muscisians featured are the Sudanese group Alsarrah and the Nubatones, the Jordanian Lara Elayyan and Palestinian Dalal Abu Amneh as well as Algerian Hasna El-Besharia, and Moroccan Aziza Brahim.
