A new show on Italian TV hosted by Syrian journalist and television host Naman Tarcha will showcase Arab music, from Umm Kalthum and Fairouz to Sabah Fakhri and Warda.
Arab music will be focused on for the first time on Italian public television in RAI Uno’s program UnoMattina, with Syrian journalist and television host Naman Tarcha giving a glimpse onto Middle Eastern musical legends famous in the region but almost unheard of in Italy. The program will start with the Lebanese Fairouz, who many consider to be the most important singer of contemporary Arab music.
